While waiting for actual spring weather I finished another project.

We still have frosty nights here in the Northwest. Things are beginning to bloom and the air is fresh. I did make a trip to the ReStore store and found a white planter pedestal that needed some colorful paint. After deciding on an Art Deco theme and seeing how overly bright the paint was I ended up doing a whitewash and aging the paint with heavy sandpaper. The idea is to not take away from the beauty of the plant or candle that will rest on the top. I also added more decorations to the steampunk themed wall hanging. It was a fun project and a real keeper. Just like our tiger cat is.
