Part 2 of the 'good vibes'.

Part 2 of the 'shadow art' project was really fun to make. I am also very happy with my first saradine can ornament! 2024 will be amazing.

Staying in the good vibe zone.

Yes, I made that video. It is a work in progress actually. Watch for another post to see if I get the other part video taped. :-) Rounding off the year with shadow art. Cheers. June

Have a wonderful holiday season.

The spindle craft coat rack is almost done.
I will add more hooks as time goes on, but I really like it at this point.
I have added more itmms to my steampunk/primitive 3D wall art. Perhaps that piece has gone as far as I can take it. So now I need to think of a new idea. God Bless and see you in 2024. June
I forgot to mention that the spindles were purchased at the ReStore store. They have everything!

Positive Vibes for Christmas in November.

I have been staying busy with crafts and art to keep up the good vibes around me. Makes me think of Jose' Silva's book published in 1977 titled "The Silva Mind Control Method.' It is really good information for times such as we are in. In the photos you can see that I made my first 'tin can man'. Also, the cut-out wings will eventually go behind a coat hanging post. That post will most likely be made out of table legs. Have a happy Halloween, stay positive and keep up the good vibes. And, I am hoping the nation will be blessed with the Christmas Spirit in November!

The two-drawer dresser is finished, and I am waiting for the jubilee.

I really like the idea of words on furniture. This was my first real go at adding words. On the back of the dresser it reads, "With brave wings we fly". Creating tiny art was a real challenge for this shadow-box fairy house. But fun just the same.
I hear that jubilee starts this Friday, the 29th! That would be awesome. Let us see what happens. Blessings to everyone.

Happy Fall Equinox.

Hello Everyone, The cool breeze of fall is already in the air. I just started working on this dresser which I picked up at the Habitat for Humanities, the ReStore store. I still have more work to do on it, but I wanted to share the progress. I am going with the rustic theme. The paint is being used as a wash to give a stained look. Meet 'Rose', she a fabric puppet that I had time to create. Hand-sewing projects are so relaxing. Also, with my Uncle's Y-DNA results he was able to trace the family tree back to the medieval times. Gosh, it was so interesting, and the only thing I could think about was making a little book. Canva.com has great cover ideas for books, as you can see in this photo. We can all feel the wave of energy bringing us closer to NESARA / GESARA, The global reset, a fresh start to make things right. It is the glimmer of exciting times for everyone to finally breath that sigh of relief and feel the blessings that are surrounding us. Cheers to a happy fall season.

Adding gold flakes to my happy art.

The Tangled Man worked out so nicely. The gold leaf just added enough bling to make elegance happen. The gold flakes also added joy to my other art works. The word is that in this current game of chess we have checked the opponent and are ready to move into checkmate. Blessings from heaven. Smile, enjoy life, it is what we are made for.

Sun photos and The Tangled Man.

I had fun the other day with a green lens on my camera. It was a clear day so I snapped some photos of the sun. With PhotoShop's solarization effect I could pull out the light reflections from the lens. A rather otherworldly-looking sky when taken with this technique. See the difference from the photo without the PhotoShop effect and the after effect. I made another stop at the ReStore store and picked up a thin wood board for $2.00 as I wanted to make another 'Tangled Man' wood art piece. The first one I made was back in 2017 and it turned out great. See the 'wood face in contemplation' photo attached. Check back later this month and see how the wood art piece turned out. Oh, I had taken the green lens out from the steampunk goggles and replaced them with violet lens. That is how I got the green lens for my photos. Notice I did fix the wood wing and it looks great now. I am thinking by the end of this month we will be looking at a new financial system. Seems gold-backed digital currency is in demand, so let's go and get on board with that.

Oh yeah, July is almost here.

The steampunk-themed eagle wall art is all done. I am very happy with the results since it was a last-minute idea. The wood came from the ReStore store and some items from the local thrift store. The eagle's beak is made from heavy book cover cardboard. It is all held together with varnish and wood glue plus staples. The wooden gears look like metal due to the gold and black paint that was brushed onto them. This eagle wall art is 24 inches by 43 inches in length. It is rough cut with a jigsaw. Now it must be time to relax and read some good books in a breezy shade. Cheers!

Summer Vibes and another artsy chair.

I am having positive vibes for the return of the gold-backed dollar by July 4th. Wouldn't that be amazing! Hope everyone caught a glimpse of the strawberry moon. This eagle-themed chair has worked out quite well. My thought had been to add wings but changed my mind and will keep that idea for another summer project. This chair had been covered in fabric and once that was removed the wood texture was able to shine once again. Cheers to everyone.
