It has been a busy DIY paint month for me.
Check this out. The attached group of images reveal my latest art creations.
The 'chicken wire' frame is the first one that I have ever done.
It was a real challenge to scrape out the putty and free the glass
from the old window frame. Equally difficult was using a staple gun to add the chicken wire.
I was truly lucky to find this old window frame at a garage sale!
It took two different types of varnish to antique the hutch
glass doors - see the painting of horses done in acrylic paint.
Nearly 20 hours of work for this cool vintage metal
cabinet restoration. I assure you that it does look better
with the cute cats painted over the original damaged white paint.
Have a blessed October. Stay creative.
